Class A CDL Truck Driver
Location: On the road
- Pre and Post Trip Inspection of Tractor and Trailer.
- Follows all DOT guidelines while making deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely and courteous manner.
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of paperwork including mileage, fuel tickets, and receipts at the end of each trip.
- Driver assist in unloading.

Fabric Cutters
Location: Plant 2 & 7
- Organize, place & mark patterns on fabric based on fabric specification and product standards.
- Cut fabric using scissors or power cutting tools, as marked in the layout process.
- Gather & tag cut pieces prior to being sewn.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently with a high level of detail.

Customer Service Representative-Design

- Initial responsibility will be reviewing all incoming purchase order
- Responsible for all details regarding the accurate processing of orders for nre, proforma, and open accounts
- Receive and review requests from sales representatives and accounts and initiates the appropriate actions
- Works closely with order entry to assure timely and accurate acknowledgement, scheduling, and changes of orders. Also, with office and factory personnel to assist sales representatives and customers with administrative and product related questions
- Monitors all outstanding accounts receivable amounts in territories and takes appropriate action to resolve within 30 days, including credit memo requests and code change requests
- Responsible for initiating any special action required for the assigned accounts (i.e.: special inspection, cartoning, tagging, etc.)

Product Development Manager

- Playing a critical role in the product development process by taking designs from Residential Upholstery Designer or other outside designers and interpreting them into physical prototypes and samples
- Developing products that meet the target aesthetic, comfort, and cost

- Providing patterns and other information to outside vendors as needed
- Collaborating with manufacturing during initial manufacturing testing and first runs

Export Operations Manager

Responsibilities
- Responsible for all department efforts to convert an acknowledgement to an invoice through vigilant and daily expediting of un-shipped orders
- Identify disparate order information across multiple systems by actively searching for information that would cause unnecessary delays in the shipping process
- Monitor information augmentation efforts by others and order entry and scheduling proficiency and recommends adjustments to maximize shipment opportunities
- Monitor shipping document preparation and recommends adjustments, when necessary, to maximize service levels and reduce charge-backs
- Liaise with the Planning and Scheduling Specialist in Residential Casegoods and Upholstery on a weekly basis concerning all Export Direct Container orders

Outsourced Quality Project Coordinator

Qualifications
Coordinates among Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to oversee the production part approval process (PPAP) for both new product development, resourced in-line products and components and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). Helps establish inspection criteria, procedures, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements any necessary documentation for an effective Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for Bernhardt Design with designers, engineers, Director of Quality, and other relevant parties
- Translates product attributes and designs into Quality Specifications and Quality Control Requirements (QCRs) for outsourced components, both during new product development and resourcing
- Coordinates PPAP meetings with Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain and Asian Sourcing teams to review and finalize Specifications/QRCs
- Project Manages PPAP process for all outsourced components to ensure documentation is clear and accurate, and that the PPAP processes followed by all parties in an orderly manner
- Coordinates with relevant parties when there are errors, delays, or quality/engineering issues during the PPAP process
- With Director of Quality, determines appropriate inspection criteria for outsourced components throughout PPAP process and initial production orders
- Keeps organized and easily accessible files with all documentation for reference during and after initial development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Highly organized and an attention to detail
- Proficient at reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. CAD (Creo-Pro Engineer) experience a plus

Finishing Sprayers

Supervisor – Finish Department

- Coordinates finish supplies and equipment, appropriates supplies to obtain optimum production and utilization of manpower and equipment

Sewers

- Operate sewing machine to sew cut parts / pieces into a cover.
- Ability to read and understand sewing notes and production tickets.
- Ability to select the proper thread color based on material being sewn.
- Ability to work efficiently and adhere to product standards / specifications.
- Develop and improve sewing techniques over time as product styles change.

Upholsterers
Location: Plant 2, 4, 6 & 7
- Applies material (leather and/or fabric) to cover the frame using a staple gun or other methods to secure the cover.
- Responsible for fixing repairs / issues identified by quality control.
- Maintain neat and organized workstation.
- Work collaboratively with all employees, and specific other upholsterers on pieces that require.
